I had scouted all day long for this spot right above the intersection of the Yan'an Highway and North-South Highway in Shanghai's Huangpu district. It was probably one of the coolest adventures I had have gone on while traveling in China because never before did I feel so free to venture into the deepest parts of a city like Shanghai. As a foreign tourist, I felt like I was discovering unexplored territory that no one else had ever gone into and seeing views no one has ever seen before. I was really traveling for the first time of my life.
